Resort wear designer Kasia Kulenty to début spring 2023 collection at Revolve

 
On a design sojourn from New York to Mexico, designer Kasia Kulenty creates ethereal resort wear that draws inspiration from the history and architecture of Yucatán, Mexico.
      It was in the early days of living in Mexico that Kulenty realized she could bring her expertise in manufacturing to a local community of women. Kulenty began teaching these local artisans to cut, dye and sew in the methods she learned while working in the fashion industry in New York City, and, along with her daughter Nisia, began selling the collection to the shops across Tulum. Today, the collection is sold across the globe including Matches Fashion and Revolve beginning in spring 2023.
 

 
      Made in Mexico, Kasia Kulenty is inspired by the rich hues and centuries-long weathering of walls in Yucatán. Each Kasia Kulenty collection embodies comfort in luxury and is dedicated to the empowerment of both the wearer and creator of each cotton garment. Every piece of Kasia’s collections is a true example of mindful slow fashion—artfully hand-cut, sewn, braided, and then individually dyed by spirited local artisans, transforming metres of airy cotton into intricately constructed garments.
      With a focus on the artistry and long-standing traditions of craftsmanship by women’s hands across the world, Kasia Kulenty’s designs are enriched with the knowledge of the present and the past with a dedication to the importance of creating sustainable futures.
